Some basic knowledge of sneakers' outsole

1.The outsole
Simply speaking, most of the sneakers outsole are made of natural rubber or synthetic rubber.
(1)natural rubber: it is very soft and elastic and applicable to all kinds of sports.Meanwhile, it is not wearable.So, sneakers used indoors usually has a natural rubber outsole.
(2)synthetic rubber
synthetic rubber can be devided into durable rubber, environmental rubber, air rubber, sticky rubber, ebonite and carbon-added rubber.
a.durable rubber
The abrasion resistance and toughness of durable rubber are very good.Therefore, those sneakers with durable rubber outsole are quiet durable. Tennis sneakers usually use this kind of outsole.
b.evironmental rubber
It is also called recyled rubber.This kind of rubber contains at most 10% evironmental material in order to protect the evironment.
c.air rubber
This kind of rubber contains air so that it is good at damping but weak in durability.
d.sticky rubber
sticky rubber are strong at toughness and anti-skidding.It is always used in indoor sneakers.
f.ebonite
All basketball shoes and mutifunctional shoes use ebonite as their outsole cause ebonite has good toughness and anti-skidding and durability.
e.carbon-added rubber
carbon is added into common rubber and make it more durable and tough.Most of running shoes have carbon-added rubber outsoles
